On top of my job as a slave for Corporate America, I also volunteer for Planned Parenthood of Central Washington as a Sex Ed Educator, Vista Youth Center (a local LGBT youth center) as a Youth Leader, Domestic Violence Services in Coordination with Planned Parenthood as Domestic Violence Prevention Educator and Peer Counselor, and assist a local psychologist who specializes in Suicide Counseling and Prevention with LGBT Youth cases.

I love music, I swear it's what keeps me sane while I'm at work. I'm a happy person but I have a bit of a negative outlook. I really like meeting new people and always want to make new friends, but I kinda suck at it. I had 3 awesome little ferrets, their names are Sissy, Missy & Tiger, They always know how to brighten my day I love them very much, but I couldn't bring them with me when I moved cause my which makes me sad, but I did just adopt 2 ferrets and their names are Squeaker & Digger. They are super cute and are always making me laugh.

I'm a pretty happy outgoing guy, takes a lot to get me down, I'm very family oriented and my friends are my family as well. I'm very protective of the ones I care about. Music is very important to me. I listen to everything from classical to death metal. I love: camping, video games, music, playing guitar, singing, hanging out with friends & family, watching movies and soo much more. I'm tired of having drama in my life. I don't smoke and I don't want to date someone who smokes either. I drink on a very rare occasion, I don't drink to get drunk, it's actually for medical reasons and if you think that sounds crazy I can explain it to you if you are curious. I am very proud of my daughters. They are what makes my world go around and the reason I am on here. I have put the happiness of others in front of mine for so long that they made me seek the help of you. Yes, you. The hearts and minds of millions are relying on you to help me over come the years of tedious but meaningful parenting. Hi there ! I just learned of this site last night from a good friend who is on this site. So here I am.
I am a carpenter by trade, grew up in the area, moved away,
returned, moved away, you know how the tri-cities can be.
Music is the most consistant force in my life. And has been for 25 + years. I play 6 & 12 string acoustic and electrics as well as
bass guitar. I've been fortunate to have been associated with some great guys through the years, but fame and fortune eludes me. ( I dont give a shit really, it's still a blast !)

Well hello!!!! thought id give this a try.... I enjoy many things and im affraid that there are to many to list:( I work alot so i wanted to try this... Im tired of all the red tape so why not try chatting and getting to know someone first!!!!

I am young, but very mature for my age. I am an odinist. I love my family and friends and would do anything for them as loyalty is a huge deal to me. I am a little rough and rugged, I grow various forms of facial hair because of what Shakespeare said in Much a do about Nothing. "he that hath a beard is more than a youth, but he that hath NO beard is less than a man." I have a love for piercings and tattoos. Other than that, my passions are music, movies and television, and smoking hookah with friends. I could listen to or play music all day long. I love to cook with other people, I mostly like the prep side of it because I tend to burn things. I have a calling to eventually become a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant. I may be a little bit on the layed back and easy going side but I am still very physicly fit for how slow and easy I take things. History; Am an immigrant from Idaho, the eldest of four sons. Was smuggled to eastern Washington at the age of 4 in the back seat of a 1948 Plymouth where I grew up and left the day after I finished highschool. Arrived in Bluegene (think about it), Oregon in the late 60's (think about that too) and lived there for over 20 years. In the mid-'70's change my major from Philosophy/psychology to Architecture and graduated with honors in 1980 from the U of O.

Have been a reg.arch. in 5 states (Or., Hi., Nv., Co. & Wa.) Returned to the Tri-Cities area (eastern Wa.) around 5 years ago from Colorado through a series of circumstance and the fact that my step-fathers health was failing. A year afterwards he had a major stroke and passed on some months later. Since then have been using this area as a homebase (here around 4-5 months out of the year) so can help out and spend some quality time with my mother (you only have one).

Am a gypsy architect/builder (scientist/artist). Work around eight months out of the year mostly in the Pudget Sound area, 25% of that time is doing design, the balance building in the field, primarily on upper middle to high end residential projects. Enjoy residential work, it's intimate. Own every tool there is to build a house and am skilled in all fields. Spent over three months this winter on a Vashon Island waterfront project. Am a minimalist, believe in having a few qualitative essentials and that access is better than ownership, so, am basically free. Am quite fearless.

Presently, with my spare time am working on another book with my partner (who lives on Vashon). It will be focused on autonomous regionalism and the establishement of sustainable villages identifying their landuse, food and shelter potentialities.

Thirty years ago we came up with a housing system which is cost effective, trans-cultural, enviromentally benign (earth-integrated), passively heated and cooled (energy-efficient) which can be mass produced (eliminating piece by piece dead tree construction) with curvilinear re-usable formwork (there is no reason why we can't build sculpture that we live in). This system easily integrates with our land -use philosophy based on the preservation of agriculture soils and creating minimal impact at the man/enviroment interface. Am using the Skagit River watershed as our pure theory (carrying capacity) model set in the year 2050. We are writing and doing the presentation drawings, protoyping (have built structures in place) and documenting. Though for the past 30 years this work has propietary and patented we are close to (estimate 2 yrs.) putting it on the internet and giving it away for free. We realized decades ago that the ideas and premises of our work would not be realized in our lifetimes, but it's been fun and everything but boring. It is a synergetic experssion of our true natures.

Health; Am physical (doing construction, riding my bike, hiking, etc.. Take no prescription or over the counter drugs, have seen two doctors in past 25 years, smoke 3-5 cigarettes a day (bullshit myself into thinking they ground me, fact is I like them), don't drink alcohol (not that I haven't).

Interests; Reading, gardening, writing and drawing. The evolution of consciousness, Livingry systems (not killingry), cooking, poetry, systems theory, astronomy, life-long learning, etc... I play the blues harp, love to dance and don't care who's watching.... Enjoy psycho/philosophical dialogues, love creating beauty.... have saved lives and tried and loss, experiences of which have integrated....have comprehensive understanding in meditation/contemplation systems, tantra, and yoga (Kundalini).... consuming fast food and red meat is a rarity for me....... rescue and help small critters, children, the elderly and old Hawaiian shirts and books from thrift stores... listen to NPR (KLCC out of Eugene) occasionally, don't watch tv except for specials on PBS (but could share a movie).... like to wear carharts with suspenders (worked in the woods for 4 years, they're comfortable and last) but have all the costumes (except a tux)..... camp, hike, fly-fish for steelhead (catch and release) in the fall and winter, there is more of course....feel free to ask.........

I am self-employed and have owned my own practice for over 20 years. I love the outdoors and indoors as well if it's nasty outside. I would hope to find someone who is interested in building a great friendship as a foundation and build from there. Tried the usual way and it just seems to have never worked. I am old school etiquette and think it's still ok to be a gentleman. I would hope to find someone who enjoys doing a lot of things together planned or spontaneous. I would also seriously hope to find someone that enjoys conversation and in that I mean someone who understands why we have two ears and one mouth. I think listening is equally important as speaking. I'm a very calm person. I work every day to stay peaceful and find serenity every day in my life. I'm kind of a dork, I don't like alot of things in this worlds but I also accept that there isn't much I can do about them. I do my best not to get upset about things and it works to a degree. I spend alot of time sitting quietly in meditation.

I am a Buddhist and this is a very important part of my life. I dont push my beliefs on anyone though. I believe that if someone wants to know about my beliefs i am more than happy to tell them about them but I don't believe that my way is the only right way or that people that don't believe as I do are evil or stupid. I actually try to look at what people believe and try and figure ou why they believe what they do. If I look hard enough it's very easy to understand why they are the way they are.

Let's see, I started college really early, earning my BA in economics when I was 20 and starting work at a local software consulting firm. Still trying to figure out what I really want to do with my life, since I skipped the whole "find myself" phase of college. My current leanings are to a future in politics or acting (or as an actor who plays politicians!), but that is years away, and don't worry, I'm not one of those people who consider it a necessity to engage in fiery debate with everyone I meet. I don't define relationships by a capacity for argument.

I'm pretty laid back, I don't think I'm hard to get along with. I was raised fairly conservatively and have become more liberal with age, so I consider myself to have a fairly balanced view of things, judging on the merits of a position rather than because insert name of a person or organization said it. I love the outdoors and am fascinated with all aspects of Ecology, and just graduated with a degree in Conservation Biology. I'm really getting into photography, and most of my photos are wildlife related. Sometime down the road I'd like to take up hunting, but for now I just shoot things with pixels. I'm a very drama-free person and always try to be as nice as possible, but am not afraid to stick up for myself. I'm always interested in new experiences and places, and there's not much I fear. Some people say I'm a trouble-maker and prankster, but they are misguided. I'm perfectly innocent. Really. I have mild Tourettes and OCD but I'm no neat freak. And I don't swear, like on TV (unless I jerk my hand and dump my coffee in my lap =D). I'd like to think I have a good sense of humor, but it can get a little twisted at times. Trying to describe yourself isn't always easy but here it goes. I am a fun and outgoing guy who is looking for some cool people to meet. I really enjoy working out and staying fit. Some of my interests include dirt bike riding, water activities like skiing, jet skiing or anything that has to do with water. I work as full time prison gaurd and go to school part time and i am really enjoying it. I like to travel as often as i can. I'll be going to Hawaii in December with some buddies so that should be a blast!

I hate writing these. In fact I already wrote this one but apparently didn't save it. So now I am sure it will be even more lame than last time. So I am just going to start with my hobbies. I am an archer, I like to costume, bead, play with cars, attend conventions, travel (although I haven't made it very far yet), and martial arts (although its been a while) I don't understand other people with ovaries, I think they are mostly insane. Most of my friends therefore are guys. I think I am pretty easy to understand (they don't), but I understand myself perfectly well and have no idea what there problem is. I am a huge fan on common sense, I think everyone should use it. Ummm what else about me. I suck at computers and technology unless itâ??s in a car. I worked on cars for 5 years in a shop. I only quit when I was told I wouldn't be moving my hands by the time I was 35 due to arthritis if I continued. So after that unfortunate problem I pretty much had to start over with my career. Now I have three jobs my main one is at a fabric store. Its cool because I get a discount, its sucks because I am a costumer and they end up with half my paycheck. I have one pet, its on my head in the pic. I think that is quite enough for now.

Maybe I should tell you what I am looking for, umm lets see a guy for one thing. I would like someone with a good sense of humor, likes random road trips, preferably that has a job. Hopefully someone that has a good sense of them self. You know someone that won't just change themselves because you have a different view of things. A backbone, yes I would like someone with one of those:) Not an ass though I really don't like arrogance. Someone that has their own drive and their own ideas. Someone that doesn't need me to get them motivated to get off their but. I donâ??t mind sensitive guys but it does come to a point that... yes, once in a while its ok but for the most part I am the girl if someone is going to cry most of the time it should be me. I think that should cover it.

First...I must say...I live in La Grande, OR...I put Tri Cities because it was the closest town that this sight recognized as a town.

I'm a new-age ska kid through and through. The more horns, the better. I really enjoy music and I'll listen to about any type of music there is (so rap/hip-hop and poppy-autotuner-noise need not apply). If you know what skank is (and I'm not talking about that girl in high school that nobody liked) then you are automatically my friend.
I prefer watching movies over reading books and I enjoy making movies as well. I think of myself as an amateur film critic and whenever I go see and new movie, I just have to pull it apart. Come to think of it, I do the same thing with people... I'm a little bit of a psychoanalyst. Don't worry, though because it's really not that big of a deal whether or not I pick apart your brain. It won't affect anything.
I'm also an atheistic pagan (Celtic Draconic... If that means anything to you).

Im not very good at these things... Uhmm about me..lets see. I love piercings and tats..I plan on finishing my sleeve by the end of this year...If it wasnt for my job I would have more piercings..i have gauged ears as well.
